Why do you only sell boxes and what exactly is in the Beef Box?
We sell beef in curated boxes to save you money and offer better value.
By bundling cuts together, we reduce packaging, processing, and delivery costs—savings we pass directly to you. It also helps us balance the whole animal, reduce waste, and ensure you get a delicious variety of premium cuts in every box.
The Beef Box Includes at least 20 packages of beef:
2 packs of New York Strip or Ribeye (your choice)
1 Pack of Tenderloin (Filet Minon)
2 packs of Denver, Sirloin or Flat Iron steak (your choice)
1 pack of Shoulder steak
1 pack of Cutlets (4 cutlets per pack)
2 packs of Skirt steak or Ribs (your choice)
1 pack of Meaty Soup Bones
10 packs of Ground Beef

Does your beef have hormones or antibiotics?
No, our beef contains no added hormones or antibiotics.
At Neyland House Beef LLC, we raise our cattle naturally—without growth hormones or routine antibiotics—so you get clean, wholesome beef you can trust. It’s part of our commitment to quality, transparency, and responsible ranching.
What size freezer is needed for a half steer?
A half steer yields approximately 200–220 lbs of packaged beef.
We recommend a freezer with at least 8–10 cubic feet of space to comfortably store your beef. This ensures proper air circulation and easy access to all your cuts—from steaks to ground beef and roasts.
Is there a waiting period for your beef box or half steer?
No, there’s no waiting period for our beef boxes—they’re ready to deliver immediately.
For half steer orders, please allow 2–4 weeks for processing and custom cutting. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way so your freezer is ready when your beef is.
Do you raise your own cattle?
Yes, all of our beef is raised right here on our family ranch in Central Texas.
From pasture to plate, we care for every animal ourselves to ensure the highest standards of quality, ethics, and flavor in every cut we deliver.
Do you process your own beef?
No, we do not process the beef ourselves.
All of our beef is professionally processed, inspected, and individually vacuum sealed at a USDA-certified facility to ensure top-tier safety, quality, and freshness in every package.
What type of cattle do you raise for the beef?
We primarily raise Brangus cattle—a cross between Angus and Brahman.
This breed combines the rich marbling and flavor of Angus with the hardiness and heat tolerance of Brahman, making it ideal for producing tender, high-quality beef right here in the Texas climate.
